Academy Rules & Policies for Students

Dear students,

Below are important rules regarding the short term skill development courses at STAENZ Academy. These rules are common for all students.

Course Completion & Exam Deadline

The registration of student for DMEP, VEEP & CGDP course is valid for 6 months, and that for SMM student is valid for 4 months. In case if student takes a short leave, and the course stretches above validity but within a year of registration, student can re-instantiate the course by attending remaining modules by paying the Course re-registration fees of Rs. 2000/- only.

  • The LMS access for such student will be old one, the one they got while registering.
  • Student needs to resubmit the ID proof, address proof and photograph and fill up the registration form again.
  • The student needs to complete the complete course and certification within these extra 6 months.

Exemption: In case of pregnancy, you can apply for 2 months extension. In case of severe medical emergency for self or for within immediate family, you can apply for 1 month extension. This extension will be grated by Training Director’s approval via Support Email. No other exemption will be approved.

Registrations Older Than 1 Year

If the registration is older than 1 year, the student needs to take re-admission to the course by paying difference of the paid fees and the current course fees plus re-registration fees.

  • Student needs to resubmit the ID proof, address proof and photograph and fill up the registration form again.
  • Student needs to complete the course within 6 months of re-admission (3 months for SMM).
  • Students will get LMS Access for 6 months.
  • The exam date will be fix for the student.
  • Student will get fresh certificate after clearing the exam.

LMS Subscription

LMS of LIVE sessions is available for fixed time – different for different courses. For DMEP, VEEP & CGDP – it’s 1 year.

If alumni (registration older than 1 year) student needs their LMS access, they can buy one year subscription in Rs. 6000/- only and 6 month subscription in Rs. 3500/- only.

Domain & Hosting Claim

The domain and hosting which is provided with the DMEP course for practice should be claimed within 6 months of registration. Later, the free coupon will be void.

Internship Rules

1. No student/intern should disrespect anyone in the academy. Spread positivity, help everyone.
2. Internship is for active students of STAENZ in continuation with the course within a year of course registration.
2. Selfie Attendance is compulsory everyday
3. Internship timings: We will be assigning the slots. A minute late and absentee will be marked so that interns learn the principle of discipline.
4. Internship days are from Monday thru Saturday. No one should take leave on Saturday as it is called Interns Day @ STAENZ. All presentations, group discussions will be on Saturday.
5. Everyday task reporting via email is compulsory. Write down what you have done the whole day pointwise. Send it half an hour before your slot ends. Absentee will be marked if no report. Report to your mentor and team lead in case you are assigned to a project.
6. Attendance will be marked based on selfie attendance time + task reporting email
7. Internship certificate will be granted on 78 days attendance + min 3 talks + min 3 mock interviews + min 3 group discussions
8. Only one leave is allowed per month
9. Each intern should send Internship Application Letter including the reason why you are doing internship on the first day. Email it to the Internship Manager.
10. Each intern should send resume on the first day of internship.
11. Online interns should be available with camera on everyday whenever there is any session or meeting for interns. Camera off will be considered as absentee.
12. Interns talking in the office premises, making noise, watching irrelevant videos, movies, anime, listening to movie songs or humming songs in the office will be suspended. Please do not disturb the team or other people working.

Communication

It is instructed to students to communicate all relevant matters to proper departments, like the queries related to training and support should be communicated to training department, those related to fees should be communicated to accounts department and admission department should be only contacted while you are processing your or any acquaintance’s admission.

Also, it’s discipline to follow telegram communication or LMS forums or support email (support[at]staenz.com) for all training related queries. It helps the training team help students better and in an organized way.

Student Suspension

There are two types of suspension – Temporary & Permanent, depending on the severity of the behavior of the student.

  1. Disciplinary Violations: Any student who violates the institute’s disciplinary rules and regulations, including but not limited to cheating, plagiarism, disruptive behavior, destruction of property, or engaging in activities that endanger the physical or mental well-being of other students or staff, will face suspension.
  2. Sexual Harassment: Any student found guilty of sexual harassment, including inappropriate behavior, unwanted advances, and comments or actions that make other students or academy staff feel uncomfortable, violated or unsafe, will be suspended.
  3. Bullying: Any student who bullies, intimidates, or harasses other students or academy staff, including through physical, verbal, or online means, will face suspension.
  4. Improper Conduct: Any student who engages in improper conduct, including but not limited to substance abuse, theft, vandalism, or any illegal activities, will be suspended. Disrespectful behavior towards academy trainers & staff will be a considered serious conduct issue.
  5. Causing Chaos: At STAENZ Academy, students are required to direct their complaints to the appropriate department. Approaching irrelevant staff members disrupts operations and may lead to disciplinary action, including suspension. At STAENZ Academy, students should use the provided support email and support team for help and complaints. Direct communication chat/meeting with the Training Director is also available. Causing disruptions will require a letter from the Training Director to continue studies and interaction with the training team. This is important for the proper operations of the training.
  6. Violation of Institute Policies: Any student who violates the institute’s policies, including dress code, attendance, or academic policies, may face suspension.
  7. Non-Payment of Dues: Any student who fails to pay their tuition or other dues on time may face suspension.

These rules are non-negotiable, and any student found to have violated them will face immediate suspension. The institute takes such matters seriously and will take necessary action to ensure the safety and physical, mental & emotional well-being of all its students and staff.

All such violations/suspensions should be addressed to and will be handled by the training director of the academy.
